12 Days of Christmas Shopping in Oklahoma City
Welcome to the 12 Days of Christmas Shopping in Oklahoma City, where I share 12 of the best local stores to find Christmas gifts in the OKC area.
This list is by no means an exhaustive list of stores in OKC, but these are (in my opinion) some of the best places to grab gifts for your friends and family. TBH, when I’m Christmas shopping, I like to make it as efficient as possible and find multiple things in each store, so I like to find a store with a good variety.
And to bring it back to the main purpose of this post and my blog in general, please support small businesses as much as you can! Your purchases directly impact your community, for better or for worse. When you spend money at a local store or restaurant, that money stays in the community and helps fund projects like new roadways, sidewalks, and parks.
1. Common Dear
I LOVE THIS STORE. Located in Automobile Alley, this colorful oasis of joy has such an amazing variety of giftable items. From fun mugs (as seen above) to punny notebooks, rainbow everything, disco ball planters, and an incredible inclusive atmosphere, Common Dear is definitely a must-visit in OKC.
2. Plenty Mercantile
If sustainability and supporting local vendors is your deal, you have to check out Plenty Mercantile. They have a location in Automobile Alley and in the beautiful First National Building in downtown OKC. They have kids’ toys, books, and games. They have spices, sauces, and drink mixes. They have home decor, kitchen accessories, and so much more.
3. First Americans Museum
Not only can you dive into the rich history and culture of the 39 indigenous tribes in Oklahoma, you can also support indigenous artists and makers at the FAM Store.
4. Best of Books
Best of Books has a great selection of books, toys, games, and more. You could easily find gifts for everyone on your list. Plus, the kid’s side is super fun and will keep your littles entertained while you shop!
5. Stompin’ Grounds Market
Stompin’ Grounds Market features over 95 local vendors in one spot. You are sure to find gifts for everyone on your list (plus a few things for yourself!). Think home decor, clothes, soaps, candles, food, ornaments, and so much more!
6. Lulu & Lo’s
You can find gifts for everyone you know at Lulu & Lo’s. Mom, Dad, babies, teens, coworkers, in-laws, friends…the list goes on! From trendy clothes and accessories to bath bombs and candles, beer and wine caddies, car fresheners, mugs and glassware, OU and OSU everything, there’s an endless variety of gifts!
7. OK Vintage Market
This monthly vintage market features several different vendors carrying items like vintage clothing, jewelry, home goods, and so much more! With the wide variety of pre-loved items, you are bound to find gifts for your friends and family who appreciate a good vintage find.
8. Hair Candy by Han
Find the perfect gift for your favorite gem-loving girly. If you’re looking for all things bold, bright, and sparkly, you need to stop by Hair Candy! There are tons of hair accessories and jewelry to choose from. Grab gifts and stocking stuffers, and even glam up your wardrobe for upcoming Christmas parties.
9. Midtown
There are so many great shops in Midtown that I couldn’t pick just 1! In Midtown, you can find a variety of gift options, all within walking distance. These are a few of my favorite spots:
Opolis carries OU, OSU, OKC Thunder, and Oklahoma apparel.
Black Scintilla has trendy women’s clothing and accessories, plus gift options for the whole fam.
Chirps & Cheers is the perfect spot to find a gift for your stationary-loving friend.
Barkeep has a ton of unique bar accessories for the mixologist in your life.
10. Abide Interiors
One of the newest shops in Downtown Edmond, Abide Interiors effortlessly merges old and new. From vintage furniture to new decorative objects, Abide Interiors has endless gifting options. Each item is beautifully displayed to make the space feel like home.
11. Sailor & The Dock
You can do all your gift shopping in one spot with a dozen local vendors at Sailor & The Dock. Plants, vintage clothing, food, books, and more! Sailor & The Dock hosts events all year long with featured pop-up shops, with their holiday pop-up happening on December 22, just in time for those last-minute shoppers!
